| Cartridge will need some coaxing. Clean generator
plate and jet area of cartridge with water-moistened paper
towel. Place in box and stand upright on moistened compress
for 2-5 minutes. Remove, clean generator plate and jet
area with moist compress, and print. |

| Solution: |
| Run self-test on cartridge per HP manual check.
Using a cotton swab and 5%-10% solution of alcohol (being
careful to avoid the jet area of the cartridge), clean
the contact strip on the cartridge and the identical strip
on the home position in the printer. |
